Resident Evil 2 (1998)
The game that got me into survival horror and spawned my horror obsession all around. The perfect gameplay, puzzles, and moments. It's infinitely replayable.

Super Mario World!
My first video game. I have such vivid memories of getting this and an SNES on Christmas and then having my dad play the first dungeon because I was too scared. I miss him.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica!
This game is such a favorite of mine and the island setting could be even better with the RE engine.

Minecraft!
Doesn't feel like it now but I remember buying a lifetime license before it sold to Microsoft. Infinitely replayable and a juggernaut now, but it started small.

Metal Gear Solid (1998)
The fistfight with Liquid on top of Metal Gear was such a cool moment for me at the end of that game.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2008)
I mean, come on, the last 2 hours of the game is one huge cutscene, how is this not #1?

Okay, not really mine but my son's. His first screenshot playing Lego Marvel Superheroes. Watching him learn and get better at stuff like this is an absolute joy.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (2025?)
I love the original game, can't wait to play a more modern remake of it.

Resident Evil 4 (2005)!
I got this when it first launched on PS2 and have easily completed it probably 20 times. It's infinitely replayable and I can still pick it up and go even to this day.

Halo (2001) - The Flood
Playing this when it came out, I can't express how crazy it was when, almost halfway through Halo 1, we get introduced to a new and somehow more terrifying enemy than we'd been fighting to that point. I can still remember my panic and confusion.

It Takes Two (2021)
Not only are the Co-Op mechanics unique, they manage to keep things fresh throughout the whole game. Add to that an emotional story with a unique take and you've got a can't miss game.
