YES. The other day I was doodling a blorbo (back view) and without thinking about it gave them my partner's lower back dimples. It was two quick ticks of the pencil... *pause*.... Oh My God

(And sometimes the descriptions or dialogue that go into my writing are awfully familiar too 🥴)

I already digitized the thumbnails, next step is to add the script text so I can make some basic edits 😤

I tried a bunch of different media and this is definitely a sweet spot for me to learn right now. I'm looking forward to trying toned paper next. It feels really good to be putting effort into this and loving what I'm seeing. <3

Finally I realized that my ability to depict light and shadow was way behind my other skills. Especially in paint, especially in the human figure. How do you communicate the shape of a 3D object on paper? What shapes and tones do you use?

A while ago I had the idea to make a series of paintings exploring how much I love male/masculine body shapes. I've painted and drawn casually my whole life, but I was struggling to get the effect that I wanted.
