My current #showmeyourknits WIP is a simple tank top made from The Woolchemist’s Mechanical Flow merino yarn. Unfortunately, the sparkle in the yarn doesn’t show up in the picture. It’s funny, though, that different hanks of the same hand dye yarn come out completely differently. 😁

My current #showmeyourknits WIP is a simple tank top made from The Woolchemist’s Mechanical Flow merino yarn. Unfortunately, the sparkle in the yarn doesn’t show up in the picture. It’s funny, though, that different hanks of the same hand dye yarn come out completely differently. 😁

I didn’t think I had a horror story for this week’s #showmeyourknits until I took this jumper out of the wardrobe. I knitted it several years ago and decided I wanted to unravel it and make it into something new. It looks like a moth got there first! 😮😱

#showmeyourknits knitter’s choice week. I made this well over 30 years ago (freehand and not a pom-pom maker in sight 😁) when my dad took up cross country skiing and wanted a hat for it. I thought little skiers might be suitable. 😊 He’s no longer with us so it’s come back to me. #knitsky #knitting

#showmeyourknits It’s done! 😁 Really please with it. I managed to get the whole top out of two hanks, but I I you look at what I had left over, it was serious yarn chicken in the end! 😂

Blankets for #showmeyourknits this week. I’ve only ever made one - during Covid when I needed something simple to keep me occupied. It’s just self striping yarn in stocking stitch. It’s huge and it only really comes when it’s really cold or one of us is under the weather. 😊🧶

My almost finished WIP for #showmeyourknits is a wee cardigan and hat for a little person due to be born in the autumn. I just need to crochet a few more tassels on the hat and tidy up all the threads. After years of knitting it’s my very first time doing raglan sleeves. 😁
