We currently garden and keep bees. Our city has restrictions on chickens so we haven't gotten any but are looking into quail.
This was our 1st year of beekeeping and we got 2.5 gallons of honey.
I'm going to try and check this account more frequently.

I'm already planning next year. Assembling new frames/foundations and picking bee stock. Probably two nucs. My new location is rural so chances of outside interference is lower.
I miss the bees, it's a rewarding hobby, but I'll be back next spring. I've learned some valuable lessons.

I honestly just noticed the app and opened it up. I still prefer Mastodon but thought I'd check back in.
Sadly my last hive seems to be dying off. The colony got too weak. Next year in the new location should avoid pesticides.
