Krusty - Very early on he was originally going to be Homer in disguise, so Krusty having Simpsons eyes is a holdover from that scrapped idea.
Flanders and Wiggum - Honestly I have no clue. They're the only non-Simpson characters with Simpson eyes that lack an explanation.

Almost every other character in the show has two separated eyes. The Simpsons are the only exception, having big connected eyes. The family are intentionally designed differently from the rest of the show, to make them stand out more. Despite this, some characters break this eye rule.

An interesting oddity I noticed.
It's known that the Simpsons have design traits that aren't shared by other characters in the show, such as yellow hair, spikey hair, Homer's stubble, etc. One thing I noticed is that Simpsons are the only ones with big eyes. Although, there are a few exceptions.

Ideally, I'd want a rio model pack since those models are higher fidelity, but in black knight they fucked up sonic's muzzle and made his eyes bigger, and that's the model that's reused in all of the olympics games. It's still significantly better than the current models, but I'm picky.

Compatibility got worse and worse when more games were added to the mix for Wii VC. Porting console to console also made it degrade over time (the wii and wii u have the same architecture idk why they re-ported it). By the time you get to Switch, it's very obviously degraded.
