Anyway, I think that’s how we get to the perversion that virtue=wealth. It rings true to people, but it’s only part of the equation. The truer equation is that virtue = shared wealth.

But so many interpretations seem to focus on an individual responsibility to acquire as much as possible and any one who doesn’t have is to blame because if you can get it yourself than why can’t they, totally ignoring the fact that it’s given to you for the purpose of SHARING.

I think the awareness of potential abundance in life is important and powerful. And if you aren’t convinced, do a search for “planting kitchen scraps” on your favorite search engine. But I think what’s missing is that abundance is not for personal hoarding. It’s for sharing.

I’m feeling a chicken/egg vibe—are we losing the concepts and therefore changing the words, or is the manipulation of the words eroding the concepts? I’m pretty sure the next word/concept to go is “society.” Or is that already on its way out? I feel like I’m always a step behind.
