Hi, everyone! I picked an artist that I think will be a good fit. Thank you all for your inquiries and insights, and especially thanks to those of you who shared your art with me. It was a real pleasure getting to see so much imagination and talent!

I’m going to over-communicate here in order to avoid under communicating, since so many ppl have been awesome in expressing interest in this. I think that’s the right question. This is an extremely important moment in history for the league, and I have no idea if the leadership is going to make the necessary changes.

the parallel to Tiananmen Square

Probably something with simple lines, clear/easy interpretability. Like a political cartoon? I'm open to ideas, style-wise. Do you have work that you think fits the general style?

I want people to instantly make the connection between the resistance to ICE/Trump Fascism and the bravery of that one man in Tiananmen Square. I'm also picturing something meme-able. Could be cartoon or something similarly easy to interpret. Probably other ways of representing it other than cartoon

I would want it to remind folks of that famous Tiananmen Square picture (almost) as much as possible. Probably not 100% similar. It would prob need to have some aspects to make it feel contemporary at the same time. But the idea is to have it as recognizable as possible.
