Fully agree. It’s a risky game they’re playing. It leaves the door wide open for competition.

VW is playing the game just right. They’re selling just enough EVs not to pay any fines and keep selling as many ICE cars as possible on which they have a higher profit margin. But numbers don’t lie. This is a strategy, not a demand problem.

In order to integrate large amounts of renewable electricity we will need large amounts of batteries. I see a lot of advantages in having those batteries on wheels where they serve a dual purpose rather than seeing them static where they serve a single purpose. BEVs help RES.
