Unlike other parties or orgs, we have no central organising committee.

We are our assemblies, and our assemblies are their members.

This, we think, can make us greater than the sum of our parts.

This is really valuable for marginalised communities in particular, who inherently have their own voice and can use it with our platform.

Nothing about you without you.

Each assembly has a specific remit. Some assemblies are also part of another assembly (and sometimes... more than one). Kind of like matroshka dolls!

The assemblies can come together for decisions that intersect, or stay distinct for when they don't.

Our decisions are all made by internal assemblies, which all use the same model of democratic consensus (with a backup of using STAR polls to break deadlocks).

What water is available is provided by private individuals using desalination & purification systems utilising solar energy. Prices are rising and water will be increasingly out of reach for many, leading to increasing concerns about waterborne disease & dehydration.

A lack of fuel adds to the problem of getting water to the people who need it: with no electricity and no fuel to power pumps, water cannot be moved around. Water consumption has fallen to around 3l per day per person, with concerns rising regarding dehydration.

The local capacity for treatments such as dialysis is now also reportedly non-existent. Hospitals are reportedly treating in the range of 1,000 patients per day, well above local capacity, with lack of drugs & clean water a chronic concern.

Last night, bombing reportedly killed a further 70 people. Blood banks have supplies expected to last no more than around two weeks more. There are no painkillers on the Gaza Strip, as reported by Medecins Sans Frontieres.
