I used to hate Valentine's Day. Lately it's grown on me. I love this man so much more every day.

I've been quiet because I've been dealing with a lot. Dad survived brain surgery we weren't sure he'd be able to get in order to remove a huge tumor. Youngest brother has a diagnosis of vasculitis. Spouse and I are moving in with my parents to help. So much stress. We're getting there.

Looking forward to spring

I'm watching current events with great concern, as most people are. I've moved past disbelief, through anger and fear, and find myself residing in resignation and disassociation. I wish I had even a small amount of money or power to help

I found my favorite watch today while doing my parents' laundry. He's adorable. Only problem is I learned to tell the time on him so normal clocks now look backwards 😂

I love Christmas, but this year I didn't have the energy to go all out like I wanted to. I did what I could, and spent time with my parents and aunt and some siblings with their families. It was good, but I live for the quiet rest after it all with just my spouse and me.
