The dtr we adopted almost 18 yrs ago, born narcotic addicted, who couldn’t be in a classroom full days until jr. high (then the pandemic hit) is shadowing in an OR this morning & accepted into a surgical tech program for the fall. She does swim, drama & choir, & is a certified lifeguard. Miracle!

I’m #pescatarian 1-2x per month. Industrial agriculture is heartbreaking. Large scale fishing is bad too… I eat “wild caught” but I know it’s not without causing some suffering. I really don’t want to participate in causing suffering. I suppose it’s a bit of cognitive dissonance.
