It's a totally different situation than women working on the streets, but still it's sex work. Also, I have some friends who do OF as a side job and quite like it.

Some now have rights to unemployment benefits etc. Also, my experience with sex work just is a differ3n5 one. I've got a friend who does sex care for disabled clients and does it with a lot of care and compassion. She's quite happy with the work and the pay. 2/2

No. Here in the Netherlands sex work is decriminalized. It's not great. Especially there are some women involved in sex work who reside in the country undocumented, which makes them vulnerable. Yet, according to most sex workers the situations is better than when it still was illegal. 1/2

Court is not the place they should be. They should be offered support and exit options. The people who should be in court should be the pimps exploiting them.

Also, you really believe you did a great job by contributing to the criminalization of women who already were in a vulnerable position? To go through the court system really must have been the help they needed 🙄 2/2

I'm not going to argue cases of abuse, poverty and violence don't exist in sex work, because it's been widely recorded that they do. Yet, not all kinds of sex work are the same and it's stigmatizing to paint all sex workers with a broad brush. 1/2

Could you elaborate on that?
