As a graphic novel writer-illustrator, I find it counterintuitive to type a "screenplay" script. I'd rather map it out visually & clean + rearrange panels into a lettered dummy like a manga-style "name." Would agents/editors consider reviewing gn's in this format instead? @debbieohi.com

Is there an exception for Graphic Novel pitches?

Besides the songs, a graphic novel would translate the fun action-romance-fantasy vibes for a YA+ older audience, plus its lighthearted tone. That's my takeaway, anyway. I've been clamoring for a project like that for years!

A tad bitter, but honestly super excited for where girlvibes fantasy romance for an older audience is going.
