I studied the problem a few years ago and found that there really isn’t any good solution without retailer buy-in. They don’t care because the money looks the same in their bank account. I did come up with an interesting solution, but unless retailers want to pay per transaction, it won’t work.

Someone actually built something similar by hacking those Am**on dash buttons. He redirected the calls to his own computer, which determined what the action was by the ID of the device, and then incremented a value in a spreadsheet. It was pretty cool!

Yes, but I promise the story and characters are worth it. Some of the best writing I’ve experienced in a game.

I remember another issue I was having now. I couldn't remove the recommended videos displaying in the embedded player. This causes problems obviously as this allows kids to play from those recommended videos.

I had originally tested this, but ran into some issues. I think the main issue was keeping track of where a user was in a video if they stop part way through. If those issues were solved though, this would be a great idea, and possibly a better solution for some families.

This looks like around where I live 👀

Thank you!

They mind because their whole model is based on advertising. KidsTube bypasses this by downloading the video to another server where it’s streamed from. This is against their terms of service.

I'd love to know your thoughts about how to distribute this for other families in a way that makes it easy for families to use, but won't get me in trouble with the big G.

Awesome! I’m about 2/3 done with Act 1. Just as good re-playing it.
