Wake Up Dead Man is kinda weird. It turns out that yeah, a Knives Out movie can in fact survive having a weak ensemble and a lackluster mystery so long as Daniel Craig is still having this much fun. I’m ready to see Josh O’Connor be a full-fledged movie star. Bring on the next one

The first half of The Substance is really, really good. The movie looks and feels and sounds great throughout. Demi Oscar nom deserved. Shame about where the story goes in the second half.

I think Titanic is in that tier of movies with The Godfather and Rear Window and such where you see people say it ‘might be the best movie ever made’ and don’t believe it but then you watch it and it might be the best movie ever made
