Nobody is being hurt by the original y0 being listed alongside the director's cut , except maybe shareholders ? But shareholders probably don't care *where* money is coming from as long as it *is* coming in . It's a shame and I know it probably isn't even RGG Studios' fault , but it reflects poorly

When people want to buy a product and you forcibly shut them out of giving you the money for said product , what are you hoping to achieve besides a spike in piracy ? People are already talking about GOG's DRM free version as an "alternative" to the director's cut , and I can't even blame them !

I completely agree . I understand that there are function conflicts between both versions that make it being a simple dlc add-on impossible , but it would be like if Capcom decided to not remake RE4 , and instead remastered it but gave Leon a katana and then charged $40 for *that*.

I literally just went on a rant on Sunday about how Sega had delisted Space Channel 5 part 2 , and now this lmao . I seriously can't catch a break huh

Seriously tho , y0 is one of my favorite games ever and I've bought it like , 5 times for myself and others . Taking a game that has been so accessible and almost tripling the price for really no reason is horrible , and delisting the original on top of that no less ... guess i won't be buying again
