yeah so back into the crochet after a multi-decade absence, making bags for partner's fam's kiddos. here's the base of the first one started. pretty uneven but hey i'm pretty rusty.

Caught a decent salmon off Coogee on sat night, and well as a shovelnose shark. My partner got a Port Jackson shark, she just pulled it in easily. The sharks were released, PJ is a protected species. #fishing #sydney #FishingAustralia #Coogee #beach #Bidjigal

As a person who has to deal with alerts which are occasionally spurious, for me this meme never gets old:
A meme poster titled "All Robot & Computers Must Shut The Hell Up". The next line is three images in red circles with crosses over them indicating banning, the first is a loudspeaker on a pole, the second is a 90s style personal computer, the third is a series of info kiosks. New brick gets the seal of approval. 24Ah. Charged in 1 hour at 90W off a laptop charger. Is shoving 12W into an alrrady almost full phone using same cable. I like the stats.

Shots of #Milford Sound taken on my recent #Aotearoa / #NZ trip. Just a mind-shudderingly beautiful place.
A gigantic multi streamed almost sheer vertical waterfall spilling into concentric rings and radiating shock waves into ridiculously clear turquoise water. A view into a bay of crystal clear flat water, backed by a valley whose steep mountain walls 2km high show it was carved by a now absent glacier A view up Milford Sound with the waterway disappearing around a bend, which of course is hemmed by insanely steep mountains. The ones at the back have snow.
