I don’t understand why people make the decision to be a piece of shit for money.
I make decent money and could probably make more if I wanted to be a piece of shit, but honesty and integrity actually mean something to me.

My granddaughter (5) stays with us on average 3 nites a week because her of moms work. I get up at 6 am and enjoy my coffee, watch the local news and chill for about an hour. She wakes up, comes in the living room and sits on my lap and we watch Looney Tunes.
It’s the best 3 hrs of my week.

I spent 5 days last week on a river fly fishing for steelhead. The best part was no news, not hearing or seeing anything political. Just the sound of the water, being hungover from camp bourbon and feeling at peace.
Life was normal for the first time in a long time and the scenery was beautiful.

I asked 3 random people at work today if they had any thoughts about what happened to Charlie Kirk.
They all replied : “who?”
It’s not as impactful as everyone on social media thinks it is. It sucks that he died and I feel for his family, but he wasn’t as main stream as everyone thinks he was.
