Irony is the NFC South champ just might be the final NFC team in anyway if they did it that way. Not like DET or MIN are that much more deserving. Heck, you might even be able to say none of the AFC teams that don’t make it wouldn’t deserve it either. Lot of mediocrity in the NFL this season.

Replace the OSU game with a low level G5 and are things really any different for them? They’re 10-2, but don’t have any more wins over ranked teams than they do now, and still have an inexcusable loss to Florida. I’d wager they’d still be in the exact same spot they currently sit.

Move the college football calendar ahead 1 month. Regular season Aug-Oct, CFP/bowls Nov. Dec is "transaction season" when coaches/players move. In Aug you can play games all weekend without competition from NFL. And having CFP in Nov means Saturdays are wide open because NFL can't play then.
