So much misinformation going around about JG. This story that she was vegan since the 60s or 70s comes mostly from one erroneous source which has been repeated ad infinitum across the internet.
She said in a much more recent interview she went vegan during the pandemic.

Yeah - it's hard to take seriously those people who claim "It's a friendly universe"

I guess I was thinking along the lines of, "Does not punching random strangers in the street make you a better person than someone who goes around punching random strangers in the street?"
