Oooh that’s a good list, my list is similar but I haven’t read Isn’t it obvious or my best friends honeymoon so I’ll add Ladies In Hating by Alexandra Vasti and A Gentleman’s Gentleman by TJ Alexander, both books were so good

Fr, I got so mad last year because ONE LGBTQ book got a nod for romance and it was for a book I DNF’d, and this year it’s even worse. It’s resulting in so many great queer adult romances getting snubbed for no reason.

First-Time Caller is also probably the closest we got to LGBTQ rep in the romance nominees this year because there were gay side characters, which is awful on Goodreads part

I loved First-Time Caller, it was definitely my token straight romance choice for the year but I read a bunch of books that were either as good or better and they weren’t nominated 😭
