I watched a keynote speaker at the RNC say, "Make no mistake! We have come to burn down democracy! And from it's ashes we will raise this!" And he held a cross up in the air.
And the crowd cheered.

My point is this: why is Smith behaving as though she is above the law? Because so far she and every politician out there have been and are. I would like to see, just once in my life, a politician from any party face the same consequences for acts a private citizen would go to prison for. Just. Once

We should also remember Kenney successfully had the RCMP halt a fraud investigation into the UCP as "an investigation could sway the election". Well, ya. As it should. If I was applying for a job I dont think the RCMP would just halt an investigation into me as it may interfere with my being hired.

We should also remember when the NDP beat Prince the UCP was busted with entire truckloads leaving in the dead of night full of shredded documents all from the energy sector. The RCMP promised charges if they did it again. Which they did, the very next night. No charges laid, no investgation.

It is the UCP way. Kenney literally disolved the very agency investigating election fraud against him, as 250k in fines were already levied and the noose was closing in on him, with the explanation "we are streamlining departments for efficiency". UCP voters believed that line and sinker too.

1930's German's can be forgiven. Fascism was a new ideology and the Holocaust was unimaginable. Trumpers have had thousands of experts on fascism, including Holocaust survivors, warning them for 9 years what Trump was, is and what he will do. For them there will be no forgiveness.

100 percent. Many other countries in fear of tariffs and the un-Constitutional overnight freezing of US foreign are already turning to China as the alternative. Many of these countries, like Columbia, were integral intelligence nations in their regions to ensure US national security.

I am Canadian and 100 percent against everything Trump stands for. Just his threat of tariffs has cost me 60k so far. But booing the anthem at a hockey game makes me ashamed. The entire United States is not the enemy. Lets not offend those Americans who are in this fight with us against fascism.

The long and short of it is Trump was successful in using SCOTUS to delay Smith's DOJ csse against him for insurrection. Smith pulled his case when Trump won as Smith will be fired by the new DOJ. And likely prosected now himself.

One other thing. A Dem SCOTUS judge asked Trump's lawyers during the immunity hearings if it was an official act then for a President to order the assassination of a political rival? Trump's lawyers argued that if the President saw the rival as a threat to the nation, then yes it is.

He/she cannot be prosecuted unless that happens, and the House was GOP controlled so that wasnt going to happen. But, the GOP controls the House/Senate and SCOTUS, so Trump will likely bring false charges against Biden and pressure those branches to impeach him and charge him criminally.
