It can be quite accurate for us, I use it a lot too. Pt of the MET's forecasting grid covers the East/North of the UK, which is for shipping I think but also knowing what weather is heading ur way!
Other pta of UK not covered by MET, they substitute with ECMWF. Also good to compare against ours!

Tbf in my head i use them to soften whatever I am typing, hence the abuse of emojis 😂
But also yes, I usually get busy during the day and in the night ive been on the screen that much all day I try not to use my phone too much lol
