I'm mostly just enjoying the quiet and somewhat snappy load times. It's kinda nice not having any wild expectations.

haha yeah. Luckily in my case every time I talk about my interests it often doubles as a great filter for a bunch of people I'd rather avoid. The entitlement, gatekeeping, and overall misinformation of gaming spaces ruins everything.

people just wanna make up their own stories and rewrite history for clicks. It's even worse when big names spread this nonsense like it's been confirmed, then all of a sudden the game journos join in using the big names as a source. Gaming sucks.

Yeah! I just figured when the PC ports happened, whatever was going on just didn't matter (either it got resolved, or it wasnt real to begin with)
