A surprising amount of Sanders voters crossed to Trump instead of Biden/Harris. If you actually poll on progressive issues stated without the usual trappings you see in media, they poll very well. Voters want change, and the Dem party is afraid to offer it, probably because of donors, imo.

I just hope the US democratic party is paying attention... Sadly, I'm not sure we can take that as a given.
