Having struggled a lot with anxiety and depression, I can say that our minds can act as our own worst enemies. I’m sure your problems are different to mine, but I hope there’s some small comfort in knowing that we’re all fighting unseen battles, and we can sympathise with those struggles.

That must be so heartening, to finally see who you’ve known yourself to be for so many years, but until now, being unable to recognise it physically. I can only imagine how important that is for a trans person!
