30/9/24 - Took a break from working at home to eat lunch out with my dad today. We had bubble tea after, and bought bread from the supermarket. Simple and nice father-son getaway.

29/9/24 - Watched Fiancée play two chapters of Hi-Fi Rush today. Glad it turns out I didn't waste money on the game, since at least one of us has enough rhythmic sense to play it 😅

24/9/24 - I left work early to help my dad take down and dispose of a door which (we suspect) was termite infested. Hooray to extinguishing the termite menace! Here's to hoping the infestation was localised to the inside of the door :')

23/9/24 - I came across an old squad mate from the police academy at the gym today. It's been almost 10 years since our paths crossed, and it's great to hear that he's doing well and will be graduating next year :)

22/9/24 - My aunt brought over egg tarts for dessert. She also brought along pandan flavoured ones, which were actually quite tasty. Paired well with the soju my dad brought out 🤤

21/9/24 - Fiancee chose her dress today! Full day of tagging along and getting to see her look beautiful in tons of dresses, and watching her fall in love with the very last one at the end of the day was such a relief. Happy that she's happy! (And that the dress hunting days are behind us hehe)

20/9/24 - Modest bonus from work came in today! Invested a good portion away for retirement. The thought of being able to retire someday and having the space to not just exist but thrive, is exhilarating :)
