I drew this to send my american family because my sister was already going to send something. And then she sent hers before telling me, so I have to send it on my own. But at least they can still get a lovely holliday parrot

I managed to finish my halloween costume before work on this lovely halloween. The final touch was the chainmaille. Always say yes to chainmaille. The blue bee socks make me laugh a bit though 😆

So I had to make an easy activity for the kids at work, and a fall leaf wreath was swhat I came up with. So far only one kid has tried it and they just helped me cut out 3 leaves, but I still think it turned out really nice. Hopefully more will try it out next week

My birthday present for my mom.
We just got back from Australia and she likes the black swans and the aboriginal artstyles. So I figured this would be a good present for her, since she never wants anything specific.
A full page drawing of three black swans, two of which are flying off to the right, while the third sits on the river, taking up 1 quarter of the page. The drawing is a style inspired by aboriginal art, so there are lots of spots to accentuate the shapes of the swans, the river and even the sky and sun. The same drawing is shown in the picture but only with the lineart. The swans are lined with mostly black, while the river and sky have colorful lineart.

I didn't have enough yarn for a floor turtle at the end of my vacation, so I made a dish rag with a turtle on it. I think I finally found a method I like using as well.

Perks of being an artist: you can draw what you were too slow to photograph. Saw lots of pink and grey galahs on my trip, and one specifically sat on this nice tree by the sea. Ended up with a more impressionist/expressionist style than I intended, but it looks pretty good anyways

So I’ve been vacationing in australia and met a man who feeds the local birds. This was a little something featuring every species of bird he showed me

I have a page of thumbnail ideas for my profile picture, and really liked this one, even though I went with a different design. So when I got the chance to make a pin today, I decided to use it. Then because it was off-center I added the text.

It's a tradition in Denmark to make "gækkebreve" for people before easter, and let them guess who it's from. This year, I made this for my grandmother, and gave her the little painted rock that looks like an easter egg, since she would know it was from me (she's known for years)

The gaang from Avatar the last airbender celebrate the shows 20th anniversary with a cake shaped like the iceberg aang and appa were stuck in for 100 years. 20 candles are placed on the top of it. Momo sits on the table, lights in his eyes, probably about to jump the cake. Aang sits in the groups centre, holding up a hand to stop sokka from messing with his head while katara kisses aangs left cheek. I forgot to upload this art journal page from when I rescued a cockatiel in Pismo with my aunt (who's afraid of birds, I'm lucky she let me bring it in her car). Complete with dropped feathers and a sticker!

I went to the Kings Canyon national park to see the bog redwood trees with family. The visitor's center had stamps and stickers that I chose to put in my sketchbook, and then drew one of the trees from one of the pictures we took while we were there.

I may be new to bluesky, but I really wish replies could just be comments, rather than it's own post that will appear on my profile forever. Sometimes I just wanna tell people they made a cool thing without shouting it to everyone who wasn't a part of the conversation.
