It’s a bandaid solution to a bigger problem. Sketches like this are great if you’re talking to other creatives.

July, Aug. and Sept. are when it heats up here in my NorCal area. Bummer is AC is not a given in most homes and apartments. We don’t have it. Homes here weren’t built for extreme weather (on either end of the extreme) so the inevitable heat wave will be rough with little to no escape.

My husband grew up there, in Concord. It’s very suburban, he doesn’t have a lot of fondness for the place. Really nice nature and hiking nearby though.
