If the powers of heaven are shaken, and all the other things come true exactly how the Bible says they will in the days before the end, that has a lot of meaning and import, differently for different people.

For Christians, we rejoice at the Day of the Lord approaching, with oil in our lamps.
There are things which are up to us, and which are our responsibility to ascertain and manage as stewards in this life, and we are commanded and instructed in these things in the Bible, and from the very mouth of Jesus Christ Himself and His closest disciples and we can know and learn of these.
When we depend on God for our every need, we have this sort of childlike blissfulness regarding things which are nowhere near our realm of responsibility, or ability to influence.

In some ways, this is part of why little children are able to go on as if everything is fine, because they have trust.
