For decades people worldwide have complained about the USA positioning themselves as world police.
For (arguably stupid) reasons, the US is finally stepping back from that role. Everyone else *has* to step up. It's literally what we've all been asking for.
And I don't mind that.

how are they calculating that? is it counting direct consumer "I want to use an AI for something so i go to [web site]." kind of use, or is it counting the fact that every patch for seemingly all software in the past year has baked in AI bullshit that people can't not use.

I've had plenty of discussions with USians who think they pay these ultra-low taxes compared to Canada/Europe.
Nope.
Americans pay marginally lower taxes, but get a LOT less for it compared to Canada/Europe.
