The past few weeks have been the most Nebrasketball thing ever.

That final shot was painful to watch.

Not sure how but if they can eke out two more they'd be in.

Also I'll be so torn if UNO gets a play-in game and wins before NU gets its first NCAA tournament victory.

Happy for UNO. Sad for NU.

One of my first jobs outta j school was running the Papio/LV, Ralston, Gretna and Springfield papers. The Bellevue Leader was a separate rag.

The people of Maine hate having representation.

What amazes me most about his voters is they say things like "calm down he's not actually going to do it!" If that's true then why f'in vote for him? If these idiots never thought he was going to do what they elected him to do, then why'd they vote for him? Oh, right: they all hate the same people.

Nothing about this is a surprise. Did Dem lawmakers not anticipate this? What is being done about it? I see a lot of complaining on BlueSky but very few actions from our elected officials.

Can you tell us what, if anything, Dem officials are actually doing? Hearing nothing right now.

So other than this post what is being done to counter this? Anything at all?

Yeah I won't hold my breath waiting for a lucid response. They have no desire nor need to explain themselves to the American people because they only work for themselves.

Where are our Democratic leaders right now? I haven't heard much from the left.

EVERYTHING angers the Dem base, so why not just talk about it? At least Democrats could show the independents scared of anything not white and wealthy they're doing something.

Republicans: `So we're not backing the blue anymore ... is that not a thing?'

Oh man that's sad to hear.

This seems to be an annual event -- they tear through the non-con schedule and beat some decent Big Ten teams then the wheels come off.
