I created a terrain burning system for my game's fire skills. (graphics of the burning tiles NOT final :P)

The fire spreads every turn on flammable tiles and hurts unit on them. Then after a specified time of burning they extinguish

I implemented some basic enemy behaviors in my game. The enemies now actually compare their options and execute attacks against the player. I need to brainstorm with the team what kind of behaviors we want there to be, but I'm super happy the enemies can attack now \o/

My game now supports AoE skills. I've wanted to implement this for a very long time, even before we switched engines from SRPG Studio to Unity, and now it finally works ^^

I implemented an enemy range visibility system to my game with 3 kinds of ranges
1) Full enemy range
2) Enemies that the player has marked
3) Currently highlighted enemy range

All range colors can be freely changed to account for color blindness

Since my game has exploration mechanics too, I need the main character to be ble to walk around on certain stages.

If the unit defined as the main character is not found on the map, the game spawns one.

Testing this with a random enemy :D

I was supposed to focus on coding this sprint, but I ended up spending a whole week on pixel art UI design and animating this kind of flare 😅 Whoops... (I’m super proud of this one in particular!)

💠 I further refined the skill animations, by adding emission map implementation and an optional bloom effect for them. I plan on making the bloom effect toggleable for those that feel it violates the spirit of pixel art

💠 I implemented my very first "Enemy AI" in the game. The enemies don't do much yet, they only take 1 step back and end their turn, but at least they take the turn on their own.
