Out here (W Mass) I’m continually flabbergasted by how little I’m able to learn about the candidates. One person had the ability to register name changes which, like, seems like it should matter in a town with a lot of trans people?

I’m currently working on two book-length projects:

a nonfiction semi-memoir about my hometown, new england’s settler colonial history, and my relationship to indigeneity

and a dystopian novel about eugenics that I fondly call my neovictorian Gattaca
