I sometimes recall the weird "Queen vs The Beatles" psuedo-discourse/fan-feud a couple of years ago. I always saw the two bands as apples and oranges, and thinking on it now, it's like comparing Guilty Gear to Super Mario Bros.

This is my defacto Tetris. I did start with Tetris on OG gameboy, but this is my favorite version of Tetris. I know form the purists it's flawed, but this is nostalgic and it's my go to Tetris version.

The Darkstalkers series to me is near perfect. It's got everything I wanted: it's colorful, flashy, anime, sexy, violent and yet cartoony like a looney tunes cartoon! It's unhinged and I love it for that! (sprites ripped by Bonzai from spritedatabase.net/game/645 )

The Genesis was my first console I played. I first played it about in '98 at around 3 years old. To me, when I think of old school gaming, I think Genesis. Sonic 2, Evander Holyfield's boxing being one of my first games I ever played. Though, my favorite games for the system are as follow:

This Alice Cooper album cover used to give me nightmares as a kid. WELL I knew of this through a comic book ad but it's one of those scary things I couldn't look away I would just keep staring at it figuring out what the fuck is going on. It left an impression on me in a way.

Political doesn't mean it's complex or even partisan. All art being political means is just that the art isn't made in a vacuum and is inspired by SOME factors of where and when it was made. Like, #Tetris probably wouldn't of been made if it weren't for the Soviet Union's economy

I noticed there's two sides that oppose to the notion all art is political regarding #anime There's the obvious where right-wingers basically just don't want progressivism The other side is just ppl finding the term "political" too icky and just not understanding what the term means
