i just realized that my initial post is mentioning the covid part of tests- i actually took more covid tests than flu tests. i believe 3 of them were covid/flu a&b and then the the remainder were all covid tests

I tested 6 times in my first few days then 3 more times over the course of the following week so it was at the very least nothing that a test could detect.

atp i am inclined to believe there is a flu variant or smthn else going around 🤷‍♀️

luckily i have been able to stay home while i ride this out.

i have had a nasty cough for 3 weeks after getting sick. Piles of negative cold and flu tests. No sign of bacterial infection so antibiotics are no use.

it WONT go away and at least 3 of my remote coworkers that I dont see in person are reporting similar symptoms 😵‍💫

we need to address this thing i see happening in journalism where trusted outlets are letting this administration move the goalposts.

its like they think taking misinformation at face value is how you avoid bias, when in reality it is an over correction that is normalizing this extremist policy

not a SINGLE job that I have worked in the past decade has ever felt fully, properly staffed. the powers that be KNOW this too thats the whole reason overtime pay was enough of a discussion to be included on that stupid fucking bill.

tbh i think theyre going balls to the wall "ford pinto" style which is to say trying to make as much money as possible regardless of consequence before they are inevitably charged with something or legislated out of existence and are banking on that cost being outweighed by their dragon hoard

they already have wealth-induced antisocial personality disorders and i think the right kind of psychosis would do the world good
