I really need to make time to *read* comics, sometimes I get so swamped with drawing!
Anyway this is a re-read, my other half has got me a bunch of the power rangers comics and they are really very good! But I have a stack of them that I have fallen behind on so thought I’d get back into it.

We’ve been watching #kamenridergavv and I’m OBSESSED, sad it’s finished now though.. kinda been spoiled by my first real experience of the modern Kamen Rider franchise. if I get time I definitely want to do some fan art 🫶

Sometimes you just need to refresh the basics! I like keeping physical book referenced for things like faces, anatomy etc to avoid getting sucked into the refrence sourcing void and you can't go wrong with framed ink 1 and 2... not that anyone asked me for my opinion 😅

I’ve always had a fear of drawing him, he’s so iconic. But superman for all seasons really did boost my confidence about how he can look. Plus that cover from all stars is just amazing when you know the story behind it!

I've never been so thankful for the privilege of having a library of comics.. It's been like pushing a bolder up a hill today!
don't know why, but people often like how my comics have been coloured. That being said, 26 pages done cohesively is a damn sight more challenging than 6!

It's really nice getting to revisit my roots of coloured pencils! She was supposed to be a nimph based on thr color scheme but I couldn't spend too long on a warm up sketch!

It's so strange to hold a children's book in my hand that I created! It was a special kind of challenge, but I got to tick something off my bucket list!

Woof, thumbnails are not designed to be pretty! - working on a story with @connorcraigeh.bsky.social that has a scene in an art classroom; so obviously I had to base the room loosely on my own classroom! 🎨
