anyway, something something remains to be seen if bluesky will be the exodus equivalent of dreamwidth, or what Ao3 is to both ff . net and LJ. or, if there’ll be a total sea change like deviantart never /really/ being replaced by a standalone site and instead absorbed into others like ig

I was introduced to LJ relatively late and young (shortly after turning 13 in 2007), but can’t imagine the ensuing years being the same without ONTD, sf_drama, various anon memes, postsecret/fandomsecrets, the legomymalfoy saga etc as a precursor shaping tumblr and twitter
