bsky.app/profile/town... I've been to roseville but admittedly don't know much about it. but it has one of the biggest antique stores in the country. it's a big mall where different antique sellers each have their own lil cube of stuff. also i saw a production of Oliver Twist here.

the other town-neighborhood next to it, montalvin manor, has a distinctive architecture style of flat top roofs and some of it bleeds over into tara hills so thats interesting at least (homes for sale pictured in montalvin)

martinez was also the home of John Muir, the naturalist who created the national park system. his home is still a well preserved museum!

port costa was once a central economic hub when it was required for trains to be ferried over the strait and port costa would receive them until the bridges were built. it's also the location of one of the only surviving Doggy Diner heads, massive statues that spun at a local hot dog chain
