Of course romance books CAN be stupid or vapid or fluffy but so can any book in any genre. Those are not limited to romance. And also, WHO CARES if we read those kinds of books. Again, irrationally angry.

Idk why but this makes me irrationally angry. Romance does not equate to stupid or vapid or fluffy. & to feel the need to change the genre because EH is an exceptionally good author does a disservice to other romance authors. “Nah, y’all are stupid romance authors; EH is an ACTUAL author.”
