So far so good on Nashville roads. Few inches of snow in my neck of the woods. I had no problem getting out of my neighborhood to my live location for NewsChannel 5. This map shows you some primary roads, secondary roads, and post-secondary roads NDOT treats. Areas in gray are state or not plowed

Nearly every other neighbor on the 800 and 900 blocks of Russell Street is in the same boat. Over the weekend, their cars were broken into. The same goes for people on at least half a dozen other East Nashville streets.

Some courageous young scholars at Jere Baxter Middle School right here. They took the national students against gun violence pledge. This year, 1 out of every 5 homicides in Nashville involved a suspect 18 or younger. These boys promise not to resort to gun violence.

A record-breaking 3.08 million Tennesseans voted in the presidential #election, #Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett announced today. More than 2.13 million votes were cast in person during the early voting period, which also sets a new high. The previous records were set in 2020.
