Yes! James was my favourite book of 2024. I also read The Trees and Erasure last year as well. I enjoyed The Trees slightly more than Erasure but Percival is another author who I will certainly explore further. I've also bought Dr No, So Much Blue and I Am Not Sidney Poitier to read at some stage!

I have just finished The Green Road by Anne Enright, which was an absolute delight of a book to read. That's the first book of hers I have read but I will definitely be reading more!

I have just started French Exit by Patrick DeWitt, I loved The Sisters Brothers so on the strength of that I bought a few of his other books but this is the first of them that I have tried. I bought them at the start of last year and true to form they joined the to be read pile lol

Have you books picked out for each week already or a few weeks in advance or are you just choosing on a whim from a quite large to be read pile (which is what I usually do!)
