Small acts of kindness. Saying “I love you” is great, but massaging my mom’s tense shoulders or packing my niece’s lunch for my sister is better.

Exactly! Personally, I think he was looking for someone to live up to his idealization of his mom. Evidence shows they were close, and as she passed away (from trying to give his father another son) when Henry was 10, he would’ve never gotten the chance to see any flaws in her.
