The dreaded second sock - it’s like the second sleeve of a jumper, I need to do it to finish the project and yet sometimes it feels like a massive mountain or something! One of those WIPs that I’m trying to finish is a pair of sparkly socks (Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit Christmas with Glitter - 6797). The yarn was bought after a quick dash in to keep dry during a downpour while I waited for the bus to get home.

Well, this Monday didn’t go to plan. Blueberry (eldest, 10yo) fell at school today and smacked his head. When I collected him, he had an egg like a ping-pong ball on his forehead. 1813 (Danish 101) said we could take him in and get him checked if needed. Otherwise just to observe at home.
