I remember being like this. My AP Psychology teacher assigned us a book of our choosing for the summer and that was so much easier! When I was an ESL instructor, I always tried to give my students options if my school allowed it. Slightly higher workload but was usually worth it.

I've seen other authors who struggled to make TikTok work for them mention finding irl settings/content that fit a scene in their book and recording video, then using that alongside excerpts from the book to create content!
