Thank you, that's so sweet. I think tonight I'm just going to rest and try to take it easy. I will see one of my care team members day after tomorrow to fill them in on everything.

She was really getting her life together the last time I'd seen her in person. She was recovering from a difficult surgery, keeping up on her health, she had the cutest apartment. She'd have me and my sis over for sleepovers. She always went above and beyond to spoil us. She didn't deserve this.

I was too cowardly to go visit her even once... I was holding out hoping she'd improve. And from what we were told from people who did see her, it felt really possible that in time she could get better. I was told she would smile and laugh a lot. I should have visited. I just couldn't face it.

In early 2023 she was suffering from headaches and they discovered an aneurysm on her brain. She had surgery to remove it, and didn't wake up for many months. When she finally woke up she was never all there.
