Me too. They’ve been here before I was born and will be here after I die. That’s comforting to me.

I know that there are women who can operate outside the bounds of expectation for their gender and I applaud them deeply for challenging that. That’s not me. There has long been this creeping sensation that that label was never meant for me to begin with
