Yeah they only gave me abx for the tonsilitis but luckily they should heal the sinusitis too. Otherwise they would've made me wait another 10 days for the sinusitis! It's miserable 🫠

I read about this online! No, i'm not a redhead. I'm usually not resistant at all. I'm not sure what happened in this case besides the dentist missing the nerve and me getting too worked up to tolerate the drilling after the third shot.

In fairness, this is the first bad experience I've had with this dentist, and I've had 6 fillings in 2 years! So the vast majority of the time, it's genuinely fine, and the dentist will stop if it isnt. You can also make an appointment just to chat which I reckon will help a lot.

It's so weird, right? Ive had so many fillings where the numbing worked fine, but this time was like, nope not today I guess 😅

Yeah and it doesn't help that there's adrenaline in the anaesthetic too 🥲 it might help prolong the numbing but it heightens the anxiety

I haven't had this type of consuming physical anxiety in a long time, and I'm really sad about it. I just want to work 😭 sorry for the random post, I kinda hope sharing will help ease my anxiety a bit.
