We had early entry to meet the new Smithsonian Zoo pandas today. The female Qing Bao is reserved, laid back, sassy. The male Bao Li is active, friendly, playful. Their renovated quarters are great.

I love birding but haven't had an opportunity to go anywhere other than our neighborhood to partake lately. So, this beautiful Cooper's Hawk came to our yard, and calmly posed for a pic. Made my day.

This is my b-i-l in Erie PA. He's over 6' tall, so they've had close to 2 feet of snow over the past 30 hours. The city has essentially shut down.
