We need to have faith in the potential of our loved ones, friends & fellow strugglers. When we have such faith, we overcome great odds. We make better communities & better people. The 7-day celebration of #Kwanzaa ends with #Imani but we have to begin with Imani to do our best in whatever we do. 2/3

President Carter didn’t just talk the talk. He walked the talk in his daily living. Jimmy Carter lived a life that truly reflected his belief everyone was his neighbor. May he continue to be an example to each of us. 5/5

President Carter was a good man who had the courage of his convictions. He lived his convictions before his presidency, during his presidency and after his presidency. He was the rare politician who said what he meant and meant what he said. 4/5

President Carter did this as a White man born and raised in the segregated rural Deep South who was first elected Governor of Georgia in 1970. He was unwavering in his support of rights for all people, including Blacks and women. 2/5
